Why My Parents Are The Blessings In My Life

                                              

After many years on this Earth, I have realized that there is no love greater than a parent's love for their child. I am very fortunate to have the mother and father that I do. I understand that not every parental situation is strong and loving, so I am very lucky to have these people in my life. Just the other day was my parent’s 48th wedding anniversary. 48 years full of ups, downs, and hundreds of loving moments along the way. My parents are incredible people, and it is time for me to pay a few thanks.

On the path of life, you often do something good, and sometimes knowingly and unknowingly you may make wrong judgments. You should, therefore, not blame yourself for such events because this is the way how people live in this world and how the world treats people. This happens with everyone who has come to live in this world. Do not feel dejected or heartbroken; have the courage and move forward regardless. In life, your vision should be focused on some helping hands – you should look for guidance and blessings. God is always there to show you the way. Though you cannot see God in person yet he is always around – in the personification of your Parents. They are the light for you to tread on the path leading to a bright future. Reaching the Divine Gateway is your ultimate aim.

The most important aspect of leading a trouble-free life is to seek the advice and blessings of our elders. As per our Indian culture and traditions, our first gurus are our parents. They teach us the way to live and behave. They lead us to the arena of the world to live and survive. Parents infuse a special type of wisdom which enhances knowledge and respect for others, Guru shows the way, Guru leads you to the divine door; parents are the personification of God; parents are the storehouse of knowledge; parents ignites the spiritual fire in you; parents remove the curtain of ignorance from your eyes; parents help you to empower your soul; parents smoothness your way to God by making you aware of the difference between good and bad deeds.

When parents bless their children a feeling comes from the depth of their heart. Children do not have to ask for blessings. These feelings come out automatically for the children. These blessings are not ordinary. There is no parallel in the world of the love, compassion, and concern that a mother has for her children, and nothing equals the security that the father gives to his children. Parents’ prayer for their children: “O God, we pray that our children remain happy and prosperous always; let the strains of our family continue to grow; let their orchard continue to grow and bloom; and O God, protect them and shower your blessings on them.”

Always seek the blessings of your parents. Parents never think of any harm coming your way. They always wish you well and see you prosper – bigger than themselves and higher than themselves. Parents want you to shine as a wise person as an intelligent person. Respect for parents brings success, peace, and prosperity to you.

Seek their blessings for a peaceful life. Children see in their parents the past, their parents see in them the future. Don't disrespect the Blessing, God would Never give YOU something that someone else is supposed to have! God has made our parents the cause of our existence and made them the source of providing us with unparalleled love and a sound upbringing. However, when we grow up, we tend to forget the period of our infancy and childhood and disregard their efforts.

                             

The least we can do for our parents is to show goodness and kind treatment towards them while they are alive. They only want love from us and love from them is always unconditional love. 

All of my life, my parents have been right beside me, supporting me, and cheering me on no matter what I was doing. When I cried, they held me. When I laughed, they were laughing right with me. When I celebrated, they were the first to let me know how proud they were of me. It's easy to lose appreciation for all that my parents have done. When I take a step back and reflect on all they have done for me, I can't begin to thank them enough.

As I grow older, my relationship with both of my parents has transformed more from looking at them as my just parents to looking at them as two of my best friends. I have started to grow a relationship with them where I can tell them about (almost) everything in my life. They are there to hold my hand and support me through whatever comes my way. They leave all judgment aside and show me that they care about me first and then if it's that bad, the lecture comes next.

                 

They support my dreams: I know that sounds a bit cheesy, but it’s true. They have always supported me because they know it will make me happy.

They inspire me to go above and beyond

They make me laugh and smile

Some of the best moments that I have ever had, involved my family sitting around the living room laughing at stories that my parents tell. They exude such positive energy, it is a blessing to have them in my life.

They taught me the importance of respecting others and treating them with kindness. Because it seems that nowadays, that is the last thing people are doing anymore. Always be kind, even when it seems the most difficult to do so.

They hugged me when times were hard. In my life, I have experienced joyful moments, as well as heartbreaking ones. My parents were there with a comforting embrace every step of the way. Going through tough times is never easy, but having p them beside me is a blessing.

They are always present in my life always encouraging.

They taught me to accept my flaws. We all want to be perfect, it’s just human nature. However, perfection is impossible. We all have flaws and imperfections, that’s just what makes us who we are. My parents taught me to embrace these flaws and to love myself in the process.

They love me unconditionally. My parents have always given me the highest and deepest form of love and am forever grateful for that.

I am so blessed to have the parents that I do. All the time I hear from social media or the world around me, about kids who were raised with parents that are alcoholics, did drugs, or some other form of hurtful behavior. Situations like that really help me put into perspective just how lucky I am to have such loving, caring, and dedicated parents. They are truly God sent, and hopefully one day I'll behalf of the parent that they are. Parents are blessings from God and I am lucky to have my parents. 

I have realized how blessed I am to have two people who love me unconditionally for all that I am. I also want them to know that I love them unconditionally for who they are. I couldn't imagine having any other parents than my own. I aspire to have a love that they share for one another. I look up to both of them in completely different ways. I look up to my mom for her love, kindness for others, and her faith in God. I look up to my dad for his constant hard work and dedication for my family, as well as his amazing pep talks to bring me up whenever I am down.

Mom and dad, thank you so much for everything you have done for me and continue to do. Your love and support never go unnoticed. No parent may be perfect, but you were perfect parents for me. I will always love you and will try my best to somehow repay you two even in the slightest for all you have done. Thank you for making my life more bright and beautiful each and every day.
